The European Union and Kenya reached an Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) to promote bilateral trade, expand investment flows, and contribute to long-term economic growth.
The agreement was signed by President William Ruto and EU President Ursula von der Leyen.
The deal was signed at the State House in Nairobi.
The pact grants Kenyan farmers, craftspeople, and entrepreneurs permanent access to the EU market, increasing job creation and innovation and spurring economic growth.
